Memorial Day 2019

Memorial Day is a day to remember the men and women who served our country with pride and gratitude. As Ronald Reagan said in his Memorial Day speech, “Today is the day we put aside to remember fallen heroes and to pray that no heroes will ever have to die for us again. It’s a day of thanks for the valor of others, a day to remember the splendor of America and those of her children who rest in this cemetery and others. It’s a day to be with family and remember.”

Our hope is that we all remember the true reason for this holiday. It is not just a day off from work. This day is a day to celebrate our families. The family members that remain, and the ones we have loved and lost. On this Memorial Day, let us embrace our family members and share this day making memories.
